Class 1 and 2 Nativity

Congratulations to both classes for a most enjoyable 'Big Little Nativity' this year!  The singing was fabulous and the costumes (thank you to mums and dads!) were excellent.

Thank you to Miss Evans, Mrs Everett, Mrs Eden and Mrs Gibbs for putting together the production.  It was clear that a great deal of effort went into it.

PTFA Christmas Events

Thank you to the PTFA who have really out done themselves this year with festive treats!   The pantomime trip as fabulous and enjoyed thoroughly by children and adults, the Christmas Shop was a great success, the children thoroughly enjoyed buying for their loved ones and carols around the tree was a most enjoyable way to wind down the festive season.

Thank you all for your support of our PTFA!

  From the Headteacher.....

Well, it seems like no time at all since we came back in September, and I stepped nervously into my new role as headteacher, and all of a sudden it’s Christmas! On a personal note, I have had a thoroughly enjoyable few months, and would like to thank the children and all our fabulous CG staff for making my job such a lovely one. We’ve managed to cram a fair amount into a short space of time, from the residential and the delayed sports day, to the nativity and this morning’s wonderful Christmas service – plus a goodly amount of learning on the way! Such a shame that Covid began to rear its head once more over the last few weeks, but hopefully the children have still managed to enjoy as many of the festive events as possible. Thank you too to the PTFA for all your hard work in making the last few weeks really special.

Whilst we don’t yet know what the new year will bring, I hope you all have a peaceful break, with just the right amount of Christmas cheer, and make some lovely memories together.

Take care, and look after each other,

Josie Hopkins
