Sports Day

Thank you to all the parents who were able to come along yesterday to cheer on  our children for sports day.   A fabulous morning was had by all and the sun shone (and it wasn't too hot!).

The first events were for our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children and they showed really lovely sportsmanship throughout the morning.    They cheered each other on and encouraged those who were needing extra encouragement!  Thank you to our house captains; Callum and Eva, Max and Maisie and Mylo and Emily who did a splendid job of helping the little ones all morning.   Years 3 to 6 then had their round robin events.

At the end of the morning events there was only one point between Bodiam and Scotney so the afternoon events were even more competitive!

The upper school had relay races in the early part of the afternoon and the day finished with our overall winners, only by two points, Scotney House taking the cup this year.

Well done to all staff who helped organise the event and to our wonderful children who showed great spirit and had a thoroughly great time.

Next week is our last Monday session of swimming for Class 4.  There will be an extra session for just Year 6 on Thursday 29th at the same times, to make up for sessions we have missed due to the pool closure.

Please remember to send your child in on these days ready to swim.

Thank you
