Keeping Safe online
From Mrs Hirst dated 21st January 2021
Dear Parents,
We have now reached the middle of Term 3, which is no mean feat!
We endeavour to keep growing our Remote Learning and moving forward into this different way of learning. We are conscious that Remote Education means that we require our pupils to spend more time on screens than we would like. Often, when children are at school as usual, they can sometimes use screens for relaxation at home rather than learning. So, all in all, the usage of screens is increasing and therefore we need to be as vigilant as possible.
We thought it appropriate therefore, to send home some links for you to help ensure that children stay safe when online.
You may also have seen in the press this week, information regarding Roblox and unsuitable content, even if the age rating seems right; please err on the side of caution.
We hope these links help.
