Festive fun and Christmas giving.
The children were split into three groups this week as we had lots to get done. Each group spent time at each of the activity stations and by the end of the morning we had some beautiful Christmas twig stars and tree cookie decorations as well as a huge sack full of cleaved chestnut to give to the Cowell family as our 'thank you' for letting us use their beautiful woodland each week. Sadly, we were unable to get the fire sufficiently hot for the much-anticipated popcorn but we will try again in the new year.
Note-there are not many photos this week as the battery died on the camera!
Remember that I am hoping the children will be inspired to use the blog to reflect upon their experiences at Forest School. (House points may be awarded for contributors!) What did they particularly enjoy or feel most proud at having achieved this week? What could they do to improve or build upon their experiences? What would they like to accomplish over the coming weeks?
