This week in class

Class three's  assembly is on Wednesday 11th July at 3pm.

On Friday we will be having an outdoor art morning. Class three have been asked to bring in natural resources to produce a piece of Andy Goldsworthy inspired art. The children have planned their artwork and are all aware of the types of materials that they could use. Some suggestions have included: twigs, different coloured leaves, stones, pebbles, slate, shells and flower petals (obviously not wild flowers). Your help with this would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance  Ms Denton and Mrs Brown.

Please remember children must wear warm layered clothing today, full forest school waterproofs, wellies, hats and gloves for our class trip.

Many thanks.

It is the final week of term before Easter and in class we will be completing reading, writing and maths assessments.   We will also be spending some time making our Easter gardens (on Tuesday)  and completing the end of our Salvation unit in RE. As well as this, we will be finishing our topic work on London and we hope to finish our London artwork inspired by the paintings of Turner.  There will be no formal homework for the Easter holiday, but please try and find some time to read with your child and ask them comprehension questions about the text. It would also be useful to keep revising times tables.
