Thank you from Mrs Hirst
There are so many people to thank at the end of this epic term, and I apologise if we miss anyone.
Firstly, an enormous thank you to our fabulous staff team! They have continued to enable our pupils to thrive and learn despite some very challenging circumstances. Every single team member has gone above and beyond and I am delighted to lead a team of this calibre.
Thanks must go to our pupils; for being them, for adapting and showing our values; aspiration, community and most definitely resilience! For working hard and doing their best.
To parents, we thank you for your support and adapting to new systems and processes. For showing our 'can do' CG attitude and for checking in on us.
Thank you to everyone, at school and at home, who has made the nativities, Joy to the World sign-a-long, KS2 play, advent window, Christmas tree, etc etc possible.
A massive thank you to Mr and Mrs Henry for all their technical support. Mrs Macmillan and I have been on a steep learning curve with Zoom and Facebook this last couple of weeks!
To the Wardmans for the Christmas tree and to Mrs Moorhouse for putting it up and decorating it. To Miss Potts and Class 3 for the Advent window.
To our fabulous PTFA for the pantomime and snacks, the new microphone for recording on the ipads, For all of their hard work for Class parties and other Christmas specials.
For Mrs Green and Mrs Gallagher for helping out at lunchtimes which enabled us to maintain Bubbles.
Thank you to all parents who helped with the Christmas Card Workshop and those who contributed to any other events.
A massive thank you, from all the staff, for the mass of gifts given to us, for the messages of appreciation and seasons greetings and to those who have just checked in with us; thank you. A few words may have seemed small at the time, but the gesture was not, and often made a difference to our day.
