Harvest
We are looking forward to celebrating Harvest this year and have made some modifications to our normal Harvest celebrations in order to do so. Harvest is a great way to demonstrate our Community value and give back to those in need around us.
Therefore, we propose a slightly different approach this year.
Next week during the school week, each class will work on an aspect of Harvest and we will share this with you, via the website and Google Classroom, on Monday 5th October.
We would like to continue to collect our normal donations of dry, ambient food products as we do each year. Packets, tins and non perishable goods please, no fresh produce. These will then be added to the collection in St Dunstans for their Harvest service on Sunday 4th October and then the Harvest gifts will be taken to Tunbridge Wells Food Bank to be distributed to those in need.
We ask that you bring Harvest donations to either the EYFS gate or the Car Park gate into the school, (where Mrs Hirst stands), next Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th. We will provide boxes for these to be packed into, please pack them in as well as you can when you drop them off. They will then be stored for a couple of days and taken to St Dunstans in time for their service.
Thank you.
