Mental Health Week

This week has been mental health week. We started on Monday with an assembly led by our wellbeing champions, who were amazing. The afternoon was spent with the Kindness Rocks activity which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Tuesday was online safety day & each class had a workshop, discussion & activities around this theme. In the afternoon we had a lovely lady from Stay Calm who came and completed a session on guided imagery & mindfulness. Hopefully some of the children have spoken to you about their magical gardens.  Wednesday was the 'Now & Beyond' mental health festival and again the children had videos, activities & more discussion around mental health. Hopefully this has prompted some discussion at home around the subject of mental health.

A big Thank You to Mrs Salter who organised the week for the children and staff.  We feel it was a very valuable addition to our learning.
