Newsletter 1: 6th September 2019

Welcome back to everyone following the long summer break. We hope that you managed to find the perfect balance of relaxing days and fun-filled adventures! You will see that is has continued to be very busy on site over the holidays and the new Class 1 classroom is looking fantastic (photos below). The grounds are slowly but surely returning to their previous state, and we should be able to remove the majority of the fencing at the end of the month when the turf is ready for little feet.

A special welcome to all of our new families. Hopefully you've managed to find answers to all of the queries that you may have, but a brief note about the different channels of communication.

- Website: this contains a huge amount of information about the school itself, the children's learning and news.
- Newsletters will be sent out once a fortnight
- Emails are sent as needed, containing specific information and electronic copies of letters. Paper copies are also available at the office.
- Facebook is used for notices and upcoming events. The page is closed to the public so you will need to ask to become a member. There are three questions that you will need to answer in order for us to approve your request.

Please don't hesitate to speak to Mrs Macmillan or Mrs Keith in the office if you have any queries.

PTFA coffee morning

On Wednesday 11th September the PTFA are holding a coffee morning - all welcome. For the new families this is a great opportunity to meet other members of the CG community. Stay after drop-off and head to the hall for a cup of tea and a bun!
