Newsletter 12 - 26th June 2020

We have been so proud of our Year 4 and 5 pupils who were able to come in and complete CATs tests over the last couple of weeks. They have been an absolute delight! We have loved seeing them, catching up with their news and having them back in small groups.  Year 5 results have been sent home and Year 4 results will be available next week; we will be in touch.

We are really looking forward to welcoming Year 2 and 3 for their short sessions on  Tuesday 30th for Year 3 and Tuesday 7th for Year 2.  On each occasion the timings are 1.30-3.00pm.  Please provide full uniform and water bottle.  Entrance is via the kissing gate please.   A member of staff will meet the children at the gate so no parents on site please in accordance with the Guidelines.

It has also been so lovely to speak to parents at drop off and pick ups.  Thank you for taking the time to catch up, we have missed you.

Thank You!

An enormous thank you to the group of parents within Years R, 1 and 6 who delivered a beautiful hamper of goodies to the staff today! You are amazing, thank you. An especially big thank you to Mrs Kemp for co-ordinating this.

Survey - Please complete and tell us how things have been going.

We understand that for everyone  their experience of lock down and delivering and completing Home Learning has been different.  We have spoken to so many of you about aspects of this as the weeks have passed but we would love to capture some of this information.  So,  we have created a survey for you to complete.

This will enable us to best plan for your child's learning in September and will not take long at all to complete.  It would be so amazing if everyone could complete a survey for each child, as individual experiences really matter. The survey needs to be named and submitted through the Google Forms link below.  The data will only be seen by your child's teacher and Mrs Hirst. We encourage you to be honest and this will help us to support your child as we move forward.

End of Year Plans

Unfortunately, with the ever-changing world we live in, we are unable to go ahead with our traditional 'end of year' picnic, church service and assembly and we are really sorry that we are not able to end Term 6 with school fetes and sports days.  It may not feel right, but it is the right thing to stay safe.  The Year 6 leavers plans will go ahead and although different, will still be fabulous.

Currently we have no definite knowledge of what schools will look like in September.  We will share more information with you as soon as we get it.
