Young Voices

A fabulous night was had by members of our Choir on Tuesday night.   We had a suite this year!

Thank you to Mrs B, Mrs Moorhouse, Mrs Hirst and Mrs Green for taking care of the children and thank you to the parents who came along to support the children by buying tickets to be in the audience.  The light up letters were a real hit, the children loved them.

Book Fair - 27th and 28th February

Make a note in your diaries for the book fair after school on 27th and 28th February.

All proceeds from sales are used to buy new books across the school, your support is very much appreciated.

Living Eggs

Today we said 'goodbye' to our lovely little brood of chicks.   The children have thoroughly enjoyed watching them hatch and grow!

Art Week

What a fantastic week we've had! The children have studied a variety of famous artists and artistic techniques, and have used these to create some fabulous pieces of work!
The week was topped off with an exhibition of all they had achieved, and a massive thank you to all the parents that so generously donated money towards our 'art fund'. We have raised approximately £250 which will be spent on lovely new art supplies for the children to use.
A BIG thank you to Miss Potts for organising and planning the event, and to the PTFA for supplying tea and cakes during the exhibition.

Children's Mental Health Week

This week has also been Children's Mental Health Week. We began the week with an interesting assembly and later on painted our rocks with positive messages, which will be displayed around the school.
The children participated in 'Schools sit together' whereby we sat quietly and meditative tutorial. In addition, all the lovely art lessons have contributed to a calm and mentally healthy environment!

Parking

Please can we again remind you to park carefully and sensibly around the school paying particular attention to keeping the main junction clear of parked cars.   It is very dangerous and completely obstructs the view of the main road.

Unfortunately we don't have the manpower to police the parking and so please can we ask for your consideration of others.   Thank you.

Please can we ask once again that you don't leave your children unattended before school.

Parent Pay

Please remember to register with ParentPay!

It's fast, it's convenient and it's available for use 24/7.   It also means you won't have to dig around trying to find cash!

Please let us know if you have any problems with registering or if you need another letter.

Thank you

Dear Parents / Carers

There is still time to get the nasal flu vaccination.

Even though it's best to get vaccinated as soon as the flu vaccine is available, getting the vaccine later still can help protect against the flu virus.

There are still a few months left in the flu season, so it's still a good idea to get vaccinated.
