Nativity

The children in Classes 1 and 2 have been practising with great enthusiasm their Nativity this year 'Jesus Christmas Party'.   Letters went out last week regarding costumes, do let us know if you need any help with these.    We will be very pleased to welcome parents to the production on Wednesday 11th December at 10 am.

Tickets are £1 each and we would please ask for immediate family only as we are so restricted on space and we do have to consider fire risks.    Tickets will be available from the office from Monday.

Poetry Recital

We are really looking forward to Class 4's  Poetry Recital on Thursday 28th November at 6pm.   It will be a very special evening and we do hope that you will be able to join us.   The children have put a great deal of work into their poems and are very excited to share them with their families.

Mayor's Toy Appeal 2019

This year we are asking for your support of the Mayor's Toy Appeal by donating gifts.   Gifts can be donated between now and the 11th December at various locations across the county (see poster attached) or you can visit Amazon at www.twmta.co.uk/amazon

It's a fantastic opportunity to support children who are less fortunate than us.

We do like to support our local clubs, community groups and other schools so please take a minute to browse attached flyers to this newsletter.     The community noticeboard is at the back of the hall and there is a parent noticeboard by the main entrance to the hall.

Don't Forget your Christmas Puds!!!

Christmas is creeping up on us fast and we are delighted to be able to offer you  our new Colliers Green puddings available in 4 delicious flavours, Christmas pudding, chocolate, lemon and sticky toffee They make perfect gifts and raise money for our fabulous little school.  Why not try the tinned shortbread too!  Please place your orders through our website (shown on the poster) and payments via BACS.

Orders will be available for collection at school on Friday afternoons at the cake sale.

Permission is granted!

We are really pleased to announce that we have received planning permission to develop the area that was used by the construction company, next to the orchard, as a car park for the school.   This is great news for easing traffic on the roads.   There is a great deal still to do but we are so pleased.

More help needed.....

We've now got the morning running sessions working really well for Classes 2, 3 and 4. Now that we're using the whole school premises to run round we need more parental help as the children are so spread out when they are running. You really don't have to be a runner - you can support the children by encouraging them to walk a minute, then run a minute, then build it up over the weeks. At the moment we have Class 3 running on a Wednesday, Class 4 on a Thursday and Class 2 on a Friday - all at 9:00. If you fancy giving it a go please contact Becky Addis at rebeccajaddis@gmail.com or message her on 07711 370561.  Thank you.
