We are making Easter gardens in class on Tuesday 27th March.  Please could you send your child in with a tray (eg a foil roasting tray, or a seedling tray) enough compost to cover the bottom of the tray, small stones eg shingle, twigs to make three crosses,  a larger stone for us to use as a boulder, moss/small leaves  and petals or spring flowers.

Many thanks.

This week is science week and therefore, for homework,  we are asking children to complete a science poster. The poster can be about anything to do with science - perhaps you want to create one about famous scientists, or maybe about an aspect of science that interests you.

The poster needs to be in on Monday 19th March and the best entries will be sent off as part of a National competition.

Have fun!

Challenge – think of two more words that follow these patterns.

I have set some extra MyMaths homework for these snowy home days.  If you have an ipad and have had trouble logging in, there is a free puffin academy app on iTunes which then allows you to access the site . I have also put some more spag work on spag.com - so there are now two tests which are live to be completed at home.

Please remember to keep reading and practising those times tables.

Some other ideas that you might like to dip into - keeping a snow diary, writing instructions about how to build a snowman, writing a recipe for any baking that you are involved in at home. Or you might like to write a wintery poem - remember to use your senses to help you build some super description in.

Enjoy the snow class three :)

There are no spellings or times tables to learn over half term.  Please continue to read daily and remember to complete the SPaG.com test.  Have a lovely break!
